    Handmodelled; baked; buff fabric; encrusted with patches of salt; tall rectangular front rising to horn-shaped projections where the two holes for reins would be on the upper edge; the hole for the high arched pole is at the lower centre, pierced downwards diagonally into the body towards the hole for the axle running at right angles to it; saddle-seat for single occupant with a high back; probably originally draped with a skin; single set of plain solid wheels (1925.317-18), not necessarily those originally made for it, though the scale is right.
